Your engagement session is a chance to spend some time together, enjoy the experience and create photographs that capture who you are as a couple.

Every couple has their own story, and your engagement session should capture it. Rather than offering a set package, we’ll create something around you — your personalities, your connection and what you’d like from the experience.

I’ll help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, give you direction when you need it and give you space to simply be yourselves. The aim is to create natural, beautiful photographs that reflect your personalities and the connection between you.

Based in Leicestershire, I photograph engagement sessions across the East Midlands and beyond. Whether you have a particular location in mind or want to find somewhere that feels right for you, we can create a session around what you enjoy and what you want from the experience.

Your engagement session doesn't have to feel like a photoshoot.

It's an opportunity to spend some time together, explore somewhere you enjoy and have a bit of fun while creating photographs you'll be able to look back on.

Whether that's walking somewhere meaningful to you, exploring a new location, enjoying a favourite place together or simply having some time away from everything else, the session can be as relaxed or creative as you want it to be.

I'll guide you when you need it, but I won't expect you to spend the whole session posing for the camera. Some of the best photographs happen when you're simply enjoying being together.

A CHANCE TO GET COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA

If you're having your engagement session before your wedding, it can also be a great opportunity to get to know me and become more comfortable being photographed.

You'll get a feel for how I work, the kind of direction I give and what it's like to have a camera around without having to think too much about it.

Then, when your wedding day comes around, having photographs taken won't feel quite so unfamiliar. You can relax, enjoy yourselves and know what to expect.
