The amount of time you’d like me to photograph your wedding will depend on your day and the moments you’d like captured. Some couples only need a few hours of coverage, while others want me there for most of the day, from the morning preparations through to the evening celebrations.

There’s no set amount of coverage that’s right for everyone. We can talk through your plans and work out how much time makes sense for your wedding.

I’m based in Leicestershire and photograph weddings across the UK.

For weddings further afield, additional travel costs may apply depending on the location. We can talk through your plans when you enquire and I’ll let you know if there are any additional costs involved.

My approach combines candid, documentary-style photography with relaxed portraits and the more organised photographs that are important to you.

I love capturing the genuine moments as they happen — the laughter, emotion, connections and little things you might otherwise miss. But I don’t believe you have to choose between candid photography and photographs where a little direction is needed.

I’ll give you direction when it helps, whether that’s during your couple photographs or when organising family and group photographs, and step back when it doesn’t.

I don’t expect you to be posing for 10 hours straight. The aim is to keep the photography relaxed while creating a varied collection of photographs that tells the story of your day.

I photograph all the different parts of your wedding day, from the morning preparations through to the evening celebrations.

That includes the big moments, the genuine candid moments in between, photographs of the two of you, family and group photographs, and the details that make your wedding yours.

I’ll also look for the things you might not notice on the day — a reaction from a guest, a quiet moment between family members or something happening in the background.

My aim is to give you a collection of photographs that captures not just what happened, but the people, atmosphere and emotions that made your day unique.

This varies due to the needs and coverage of the day, but typically my past clients have received anywhere between 550-750 images, all individually edited.

You get the right to be able to print the photographs wherever you want, as well as distribute them however you want. However I own the copyright. Basically, copyright indicates that I'm the images' creator and therefore I am the owner of the copyright.

Not at all. An engagement session is completely optional.

Some couples like having a session before their wedding because it gives them a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and get a feel for how I work. It can be especially useful if you’re not used to having your photographs taken.

Others would rather wait until the wedding day, and that’s absolutely fine too. We’ll find what works best for you.

Unfortunately, as I work exclusively and only do a limited amount of weddings each year, they are booked on a first come first serve basis.

Once we have booked in your wedding date and the deposit is paid, I am now completely locked in to your date, and no other person will be able to book me for that set period.

The first step is to get in touch through my contact page and let me know your wedding date. I’ll check my availability and, if your date is free, we can arrange a chat about your plans, what you’re looking for and how you’d like your photography to fit into the day.

If you decide you’d like me to photograph your wedding, your date is secured once the booking agreement is completed and a 50% deposit has been paid.

I only take on a limited number of weddings each year, which means I can give each couple the time and attention their photography deserves.
